This bottle opener was entirely hand-forged using traditional techniques. Employing a hammer, anvil, and coke forge, I heat a mild steel bar until it's red-hot, then shape it with my hammer to create a taper. Next, I punch and drift the eye of the opener to fit a standard bottle cap. The little suckers are created one at a time using a MIG welder. Once the tiny weld bead is placed, it is then heated up and punched to add depth. Every piece I create is a result of very intensive labor and is entirely handcrafted. As a result, each item is unique, ensuring no two pieces are identical.

Finish: Wire wheeled, blued and oiled.
